An eye for design? That’s natural. But real skill to produce it takes dedicated practice and focused education. So that’s what I did: I honed my skills and learned from the best to shape myself into a designer with natural ability and crafted conviction. From 2011 to 2014, I studied my trade and put it to the test at the University of the Fraser Valley’s Design Fundamentals and Applications program, and in the Publishing Program at Langara College. Both set the foundation for my work, but it was from the IDEA Program at Capilano College that I launched my career.

During my three years in this intensive program, I soon found a passion for design with a precision edge. There, I took on countless projects and apprenticed at Clawhammer Letterpress in Fernie, British Columbia, where I worked with letterpress machines, hand-mixed ink, and set type by hand. After graduation from IDEA, I went right to work as a junior designer at an award-winning Vancouver Agency called Spring Advertising.

Since then, I’ve worked with Agency Media, BAM Communications, Ambr Digital, and SITE Partners, and countless other clients. But no matter where I set up shop, I always push myself and my team to create work for clients that’s unquestionably authentic—work that breaks through the noise with visual identities that can’t be found anywhere else. I’ve made it my mission to showcase what my clients do best, so there’s no mistaking that their brand was crafted with conviction.
